Artwork Files

Lyle's preferred software application is Adobe Illustrator - Version 10.0 or less. Artwork should be sent in Vector format (if possible) vs Raster format.

Vector graphics or geometric modeling is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and polygons to represent images in computer graphics. It is used by contrast to the term raster graphics, which is the representation of images as a collection of pixels (dots). See samples below.

Convert all text to outlines before sending artwork and do not embed fonts. If a specific font is required please make a note of the required font when sending the artwork.

Custom art files must be received in the following format.

• .AI
• .EPS
• .PDF
• .PLT (Gerber Omega vs 2.0 or less)
• Coral Draw Version 9.0
• .TIF (Resolution at least 400 dpi)

Artwork can be e-mailed to our Art Department at lyleart@lylesigns.com. All artwork received will be scanned for viruses, worms or other destructive elements. Annotate your company Purchase Order on the file so it can be matched to your order.

NOTE: If artwork contains a virus, worm or other destructive element, the sender's name will be added to a block sender list and we will no longer accept art via e-mail.
