Lyle's preferred software application is Adobe Illustrator - Version CS5 or less. Artwork should be sent in Vector format vs. Raster format.
Vector graphics or geometric modeling is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and polygons to represent images in computer graphics. It is used by contrast to the term raster graphics which is the representation of images as a collection of pixels (dots). See samples below.
Convert all text to outlines before sending artwork and do not embed fonts.
Custom art files must be received in the following format.
Artwork can be e-mailed to our Art Department at [email protected]. All artwork received will be scanned for viruses, worms or other destructive elements. Annotate your company Purchase Order on the file so it can be matched to your order.
NOTE: If artwork contains a virus, worm or other destructive element, the sender's name will be added to a block sender list and we will no longer accept art via e-mail.
